Light and Color

my hoarding came through for me

My photographic experience

hectic. I brought it on my self. Crashed and burned in the middle of the quarter and it shows in my photos. I learned a lot, just have to use it till it’s ingrained in me. I have to get used to adjusting my aperture and shutter speed and ISO every time the light’s different so that’s fun. I like looking at badly taken photos and that’s how I like to take photos too. I think they’re neat.

Exploration of composition and other stuff

I definitely stick to the rule of thirds the most. I need to break out of that. It’s hard to tell right off the bat if your picture you took is underexposed or over, but luckily technology tells us in our nifty cameras. I struggle with light the most

Relationship with light

Yeah I read about it, felt I understood, then went and tried to accomplish those things and face planted I was sitting there adjusting my camera over and over trying to get it just right. Right, because light is a photographers language, currently I’m at that stage where you understand it, you can read it and comprehend it after a few minutes of processing, but you can’t speak well at all. It just comes out in vocab you just memorized.
